Joined Star Fleet straight out of West Point

Assigned aboard the USS Deliverance Lt.jg as AENG until they lost their CENG and Joclyn was than promoted to full Lt. by Captian Talas. After serval years of service and the arrival of her new captain, Lt Joclyn Brandon was soon transfered the USS Kitty Hawk to take over as her XO, Lt Joclyn Brandon- Guthrie was field commissioned to Commander. However that assignment was shorty ended in a battle when the USS Kitty Hawk took heavy damage and was destoried. The Survivers of the Kitty Hawk were beamed aboad the USS Vastitude
and entergraded into the Vastitude's crew.
