Career Information

Education:
Public school in Fussa. Torranaga Military Prep - Osaka. University of Science and Engineering - Sasebo. Degrees Bs, Ms, and PhD in two disciplines; Warp propulsion and effects of Gamma radiation on warp efficiency while in hyper space. Dr. Roberts contributed a number of efficiency improvements to warp drives and donated same to Starfleet. After return from the Japanese service he was denied entrance to the Star Fleet Academy because of age, however because of his academics and career experience he was granted the opportunity to challenge the graduating class written and practical exams including pilot. He passed all of them with incredible results and had he been a regular cadet he would have been the class valedictorian. He received the 'ring', and assigned to the available personnel pool for fleet assignment. Star Fleet Command granted him a concession . . . his dress and away uniform includes the wearing of his Japanese sword on his back with the hilt extending above his left shoulder and rank of Captain because of his prior command experience.

Career History:
Student as previously listed. Teaching experience both at the prep school and universtity levels. Served in the Hiroshima Volunteer Force to the rim worlds as pilot and intelligence specialist. He became acting then confirmed as Captain of the JSS Suzuki II with the rank of Captain. Returned to Earth at end of mission assignment. Awarded Medal of Valor - Platinum for foiling an attack on an away party in hand to hand combat while on away duty. A colleague and friend to Katana a fellow JSS Captain.
