Career History:
Joined the Marines as an enlisted man, no one ever knew why he refused to go to officer training school. When questioned Joe would only claim that "being an officer its a boring thing to be..."

Never the less the marines promoted him to sargeant after basic training and he was posted with the MEF ( marine expedicionary force ) to serve in the neutral zone. A year later he would be reagssigned after a promotion to Staff Sargeant, now posted in the USS Vastitude as the platoon sargeant of 2nd platoon.
