Family History:
Jaykob was born a rich boy from a military family - his father was a Para, and his mother a politician's daughter. He was always proud of his father's military service and had decided from a young age to follow in his footsteps and join the Paras. His mother, Rhian had to have her own input, and sent him to City of London School. There he excelled in History, Geography, Sports and Physical Education. He also joined up with Army section of the Combined Cadet Force where he attended the Spring, Autumn and Summer camps every year from age 14. He also studied Judo and Karate, his father having drilled into him a very strong work ethic from his crib. Upon his graduation, and with the skills learnt from CCF, he joined the British Army and instantly applied for Sandhurst where he was accepted.

After graduating the 44 week course, he returned to Cattrick to complete his Parachute training and was then accepted into the 2 Para, or Immaculate Seconds as they were colloquially known. He was a jumior officer of the Seconds, and though he was fresh out of Cattrick, he was deployed for Operation Fingal in Afghanistan. His exemplary skills and strong work ethic soon brought him to notice of the IOC. Since the Immaculate Seconds had been sent back to Meeanee Barracks, he was pleased with the opportunity at a mysterious new posting. Spending two years on base had been intolerable for him, and the word of a Stargate Expedition sounded for more action oriented than base-life. He left for Neverland with the Persephone.
