Education:
Calael joined Starfleet Academy in the middle of the Dominion war, hoping to assist those who protect Bajor and eager to fight the Cardassians.

Career History:
After graduating from the Academy he was posted in Deep Space Nine as a Engineering officer.
The Dominion war has ended while he was in the academy and as a Engineering officer he did not get to do a lot on Deep Space Nine, he decided he wishes to journey the stars and so he requested a transfer to a Starship position.
He was then assigned to the USS Vastitude.
